My Goal in life and efforts to reach that GOAL!!

My father is successful enough to expand his startup business in the territory of Maharashtra now it’s my time to take charge of the same. My goal and future plans is to contribute to his business is by making this business grow national and international. I know there are many strict norms and standards that need to be met if any one wish to expand national and international and I have properly planned my future years so that when I enter my business it will help the business to grow soon

I have completed my graduation in international business which helps me in knowing about how business can be done internationally. Which are the different scheme by govt. to support private business to go global. Which are the export promotion council in India and lot of other valuable knowledge I gained from my graduation course.

Then I pursued a post graduate degree in management marketing streams keeping in mind the inclination towards consumer behavior and analysis. To get more exposure in retail I did my summer training with one of the leading retail chain PROMART RETAIL discount format retail store operating nationally there I was in charge of 2 projects assigned to me

1. Major reason for loss of sale at the store

2. Future of denim market in India

As both of the project were directly related to retail and clothing industry I was really happy working on it and gained lot of knowledge

Post that I even did part time job with Future group to get more understanding about retail. I was working for mall management and marketing. Got good experience as in how a brand is to be roped in for a new mall and the promotional activities are to be placed, how the footfall has to raised etc...

Lastly after seeing my passion in retail and dedication I got placed via campus in PANTALOONS FASHION & RETAIL LTD. I am really happy that my efforts paid off I got a retail sector and especially in to clothing section I am really motivated to work with pantaloons’ as of now for 4 – 5 years and take a good rich experience with me of the same industry and join my business and help my business to grow global and international.

Initial Days of my Passion

I am passionate about business the word business draws a lot of attention within me I have an urge of doing business from childhood it can be because my father has a business and I am having a typical Mardawi family background and art of doing a business is in my blood I feel very passionate about it

We have our own Retail outlets in pune which deals with ready-made Garments for Men and Women

We also have our own wholesale supply line which distributes our own label merchandise in whole Maharashtra

I remember those childhood days when I use to go to are retail shops with  my father weekends days where he use to handle the shop he has a very positive attitude towards his business different attitude towards different customers attitude of treating his customers depends upon whether he is a loyal customer or a first timer. That was an interesting thing I learnt from him about consumer handling and understanding the consumer need and serve them accordingly so that they feel good about their decision of purchase and happily come for the next time.

I even use to travel with my dad in vacation time where he use to book his order, meet his suppliers, etc... How to close a deal and all its very interesting thing to know that how to handle a customer or supplier then they are bargaining and how to convince them and everything.

It is because of my father and his attitude I have got a passion towards my business and business in retail. I have made up my mind of making a career in retail industry especially in Garment section.

What is Business

Businesses may also be not-for-profit or state-owned. A business owned by multiple individuals may be referred to as a company, although that term also has a more precise meaning.

What is an entrepreneur?

An entrepreneur is someone who:

Can identify a niche in the market – an entrepreneur can spot business opportunities that will fill gaps in the market

Can identify key people to help achieve goals – nobody is an expert in everything!

Takes risks – even if you have carefully researched the market, there's always a chance that customers may reject your product or service

Shows drive and initiative – if you are launching a business you need determination and energy to overcome any obstacles

Is resilient – all entrepreneurs have failures and successes. Your ability to learn from mistakes and move on is key to the success of your business.

How do I come up with a bright idea?

Creative thinking allows you to come up with new ideas, or an innovative approach   to   a problem.
With businesses, new ideas can result in a new product, or a process that cuts costs or improves quality, for example. Fresh ideas give businesses a competitive advantage, and help make goods and services stand out in the market.
Different ways to generate ideas include:

Lateral thinking – solving problems through an indirect and creative approach. Often referred to as thinking outside the box

Blue-sky thinking – open-minded thinking where everything is possible, and you are not restricted by realities.

Starting a business is costly, and many owners of small and medium-sized businesses underestimate the amount of money they will need. You need enough to set up the business and cover operational expenses until the business starts to generate a profit.

What is PASSION

Passion is a term applied to a very strong feeling about a person or thing. Passion is an intense emotion compelling, enthusiasm, or desire for anything.

Passion as a motivation in a business

There are different reasons individuals are motivated for an occupation.One of these includes passion for the occupation. When an individual is passionate about their occupation they tend to be less obsessive about their behavior while on their job, resulting in more work being done and more work satisfaction. These same individuals have higher levels of  well-being. When people genuinely enjoy their profession and are motivated by their passion, they tend to be more satisfied with their work and more psychologically healthy. When an individual is unsatisfied with their profession they are also dissatisfied with their family relationships and experience psychological distress. Other reasons people are more satisfied when they are motivated by their passion for their occupation include the effects of intrinsic and external motivations. When an individual is doing the job to satisfy others, they tend to have lower levels of satisfaction and psychological health. Also, these same individuals have shown they are motivated by several beliefs and fears concerning other people.Thirdly, though some individuals believe one should not work extreme hours, many prefer it because of how passionate they are about the occupation. On the other hand, this may also put a strain on family relationships and friendships. The balance of the two is something that is hard to achieve and it is always hard to satisfy both parties.

Passion and desire in an business

Passion and desire go hand in hand, especially as a motivation. Linstead & Brewis refer to Merriam-Webster to say that passion is an "intense, driving, or overmastering feeling or conviction". This suggests that passion is a very intense emotion, but can be positive or negative. Negatively, it may be unpleasant at times. It could involve pain and has obsessive forms that can destroy the self and even others. In an occupation, when an individual is very passionate about their job, they may be so wrapped up in work that they cause pain to their loved ones by focusing more on their job than on their friendships and relationships. This is a constant battle of balance that is difficult to achieve and only an individual can decide where that line lies. Passion is connected to the concept of desire. In fact, they are inseparable, according to a mostly western way of thinking related to Plato, Aristotle, and Augustine. These two concepts cause individuals to reach out for something, or even someone. They both can either be creative or destructive and this dark side can very well be dangerous to the self or others
